The Keep

This is currently my homebase for writing, recording and producing records in my hometown of Denver CO.  I've Partnered with some amazing engineers, Jeff Kanan (No Doubt, Kelly Clarkson, Madonna) and Nick Sullivan (American Rely, Los Lobos) who have put their heart and soul into this amazing space. 

Located in Denver’s Antique Row/Green Mile area of S. Broadway,  The Keep provides a professional, comfortable recording environment to maximize their recording needs for today’s professional recording artist.  From the comfort minded, modern designed tracking and control rooms to gear from API, Quad 8, Emperical labs, Royer, and Alan Smart, The Keep secures a competitive recording product and experience. I am currently the booking manager for the studio so feel free to contact me about day rates and studio tours. Whatever your recording needs, know they will be kept safe at The Keep.

Andy Rok & The Real Deal

My current musical project. Exploring a plethora of sounds and styles with some great musicians. I am currently working on writing and recording the group's first album to be release sometime in 2017. Nerd Prom

Well… this is exactly what it sounds like… it’s a really nerdy prom. Created by your's truly and now in it's fifth year, Nerd Prom’s mission is to give the people of geek culture another way to come together and be with one another in an environment that’s fun and friendly. 

Many of us didn’t exactly have a great time at our high school prom, especially those of us who were particularly nerdy… but let’s be honest, prom was kinda lame. Nerd Prom is my way of taking those memories back, in the name of justice and all things good. At Nerd Prom, we wear our geekdom with pride, because the further we get from high school the more we realize that what made us uncool then makes us really freakin’ cool now. Come dressed geek to chic. You can dress for prom, or you can dress like Chewbacca. It’s your call. Cosplay is always welcome and encouraged. Be ready to dance, see some great music, and make new friends.

CU Denver

As an alumni I was invited to come teach some performance and Music Business classes at the College of Arts and Media on the Auraria Campus. I am currently the Pop Rock Ensemble Director, and teach a variety of music business classes including Intro to music business, music in the digital age and the student run record label CAM Records. CAM Records

One of the CU Denver College of Arts and Media course I took over a couple years ago and currently lead is CAM Records. It's mission to promote and help independent Colorado artists grow to a new level of success while also educating CAM students with hands-on experience on how to run a record label.  Since it’s official beginning in 1998 CAM Records’ mission was to be more than just a record label. It was destined to be the best student-run record label in the country. After working with artists including The Fray, My Body Sings Electric, Chemisty club, Red Fox Run and You Me & Apollo and two awards for Best College Record Label Release of the Year under their belt, CAM Records is proving itself as a force to be reckoned with in the Colorado music scene.

Youth on Record

This is the Nonprofit I founded with other members of the Flobots back in 2008, with the goal of helping at-risk youth unlock their full potential through music education. Youth on Record is committed to ensuring that the youth they serve graduate from high school and are ready to enter the workforce, transition to college or enter advanced technical training. The programs empower teens in some of Denver’s most vulnerable communities to make life choices that positively impact their future by teaching them to develop the tools, inspiration and wherewithal to succeed in today’s world and to become leaders of tomorrow. Their intensive, for-credit high school classes are led by a powerful group of culturally relevant Colorado musicians, all of whom have a passion for working with at-risk and underserved youth in the Denver Metro area.
